Phil, I'm so sorry you're having to go through this with Avi. I truly hope that everything works itself out. Kids do well if they can.... It sounds like Avi is having a hard time wrestling with his emotions and hopefully you'll get it all figured out. Surely there's a "solution" out there - you just haven't found it yet.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE that song! But you know what, it "sounds" differently when you read it... rather than listening to the music. Truly beautiful! Miss your blogging antics - can't wait to read more of your stuff (even though I haven't written too terribly much lately either).

Thanks for the encouragement. We are thinking that it could be the meds and we are going to wait one more week before we try something new.

Phil, have you thought that it may be the actual drug he's on? I've heard (though similar) they can all produce different effects. We saw similar results with Ritalin and Metadate (that Abby's currently on), but the Metadate is better for us b/c it's longer lasting. Good luck and keep up the good work. He seems like a sweet kid - you just haven't quite gotten the meds figured out yet. We were blessed that it only took us 2 tries - I've heard of people switching 4-5 times before they find "the one".

WOW! It sounds like ya'll have a lot of fun during Passover - hard work, but fun at the same time! If you can find a minute during your busy Passover schedule, take a look at my recent post because you've been tagged (by me) to answer some random questions! I know you're not a "blogging Mama", but I figured you'd have some pretty unique things to add...

I laughed (out of understanding) at this post, but one thing you forgot is that things ALWAYS seem to go wrong at the most inopportune moments! When you've got tons to do (passover) or you've got kids depending on you (cub scouts)... but being a parent, we're REQUIRED to be resourceful. Enjoy the clean house and the passover preparations. I don't understand a whole lot about it, but it sounds like you've got a "few" busy days ahead of you!
