It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Passover

It’s not secret among my friends that Passover is my favorite Jewish holiday.  It is perhaps the quintessential Jewish holiday as it celebrates the birth of the Jewish people.  I spend a lot of time preparing for the Seders and as written in this blog I have been working on a Haggadah for many years.

What I love most about Passover though, are the wonderful youtube videos about Passover.  Well, maybe not what I love most, but many of them are quite funny!  Through the weeks leading up to Passover, I will be sharing some of the best.

I’ll start with perhaps one of the best.

Passover Haggadah Project

I have the next five pages from my Haggadah uploaded on my Passover Haggadah blog. Please take a look and leave me comments!

Passover Haggadah Project

For the past seven or so years, I have been working on a Passover Haggadah. I am about half way through this project (I do a little each year in the month before Passover). At this point I am looking to get comments from friends, family and anyone who is willing to give their two cents. I have posted the first four pages and over the next weeks I will be posting more.

Passover in Winter?

OK, I have to write a small rant today.

A couple of weeks ago Passover foods began showing up in the supermarkets in New Jersey. I have no idea if this is happening in other parts of the country, but it seems that each year the stuff comes out at least a week earlier than the previous year. I mean we still have Purim coming up and no one wants to be thinking about planning seders yet.

Lets get real! Soon the stuff will be on the shelves in January!

I think the food should come out exactly one month before Passover and no earlier!

There, my rant is over.

Now for something silly.
